Job Description
Pre-Contract Responsibilities
- Acquire data for estimation purposes for any tender. Data/rates will be collected from previous awarded contracts, market rates, or lists of approved contractors/suppliers.
- Merge collected data/rates into the data system for reference, covering labour, materials, and machinery.
- Perform taking off, site visits, and other tasks required for tender and pricing purposes.
- Participate in the tendering process, including data collection, quotation, and final inking until tender submission.
- Prepare tender documents for quotation purposes, including bills of quantities, drawings, and specifications.
- Assist in the prequalification of contractors.
- Call out tenders, monitor closing, gather and prepare data for analysis, and produce evaluation reports in a timely manner.
