Job Description
To be successful in this role:
- To assist and initiate new product development including production scale up tasks.
- Daily execution of R&D related lab activities.
- To carry out R&D projects such as formulation, sample preparation and sensory evaluation of food products.
- Manufacturing of batches in the R&D lab, process optimization for formulations, documentation generation, defining/creating release specifications and tracking stability.
- Troubleshooting formulas as well as continuous improvement of existing formulas and processes.
- Carry out pilot plant trials in production and coordinate with relevant departments to resolve problems.
- Maintain R&D raw material inventory which includes logging and removing expired raw materials.
- Ensure safe and hygiene conditions, equipment are maintained in R&D Lab.
- To keep a record of all R&D related documents.
