Hours Per Week: 40.00
Work Schedule: 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM
Sign On Bonus eligible (minus tax)
Summary:
The Radiation Therapist is responsible for simulations, treatments, chart checks, scheduling, weekly chart checks, machine warm up and shut down, performing QA tasks on machines, educating patients, and taking on-call shifts or any other tasks deemed necessary to perform their job, under the direction and supervision of the Physician, Department Manager, and Lead Radiation Therapist. Quality Assurance of the treatment and simulation equipment are performed daily. Therapist must follow all departmental policies and ensure that safety procedures are followed to protect the patient as well as themselves.
