Duties
- Provide radiation therapy to patients, ensuring precise and effective treatment.
- Utilize ARIA and EPIC charting systems for accurate patient documentation.
- Operate Varian 21 EX/iX equipment for treatment delivery.
- Calculate and administer radiation doses using the Treatment Planning System, including Pinnacle and Eclipse.
- Perform tumor localization and use beam modifying/positioning techniques.
- Implement isolation precautions and adhere to radiation safety protocols.
- Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams for comprehensive patient care.
Skills
- Experience with adult acute care pretreatment and external beam therapy.
- Proficient in IMRT (Intensity Modulated Radiotherapy).
- Competency in custom molds, shields, and block cutting.
