Job Description
Under the direction of the Associate Director of Radiology and the clinical direction of the Radiologists, provides radiologic care to patients for the purpose of diagnosis and/or treatment of anatomic and physiologic disorders. . Perform all routine radiographic procedures and assist in fluoroscopy. Demonstrate anatomy under investigation through proper patient positioning, image identification, technique selection, administration of contrast media, application of immobilization and radiation protection devices according to department policy and procedures. Receive requisition, checking for special instructions from the requesting physician. Ensure appropriate clinical history on requisition. Consult with radiologist as necessary. Pleasantly greet patients, confirming their identification and introducing self. Completely explain examination procedure to the patient, and the patient's family if present.
