Job Description
Competently performs routine and specialized breast procedures to produce quality images for physicians and other healthcare providers. These images aid in the diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease. The role requires working independently, exercising sound judgment, and utilizing developed clinical skills to execute safe and precise procedures, delivering accurate results in a timely manner.
The candidate will gain confidence and cooperation from patients, their families/support groups, and other healthcare providers through competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, and effective communication. Adherence to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures is essential to ensure privacy and safety while delivering optimal patient care. The role may also involve performing specific procedures and/or orienting other staff to the department.
