Job Summary
Produces radiographs of various anatomical parts for diagnostic purposes as directed by the Orthopedic Physician.
Essential Job Functions
- Verifies pertinent data about the patient and procedure.
- Provides information to the patient about the procedure.
- Analyzes the information obtained during assessment phase and determines optimal imaging parameters per diagnosis.
- Obtains optimum images during exam/procedure.
- Documents accurate information about patient and exam.
- Maintains equipment and workstation in optimum condition.
- Performs other duties of medical assistant and/or medical secretary on an as needed basis within physician office setting to ensure an efficient work flow for Orthopedic practice.
