As a Ranger specialising in weed management, you will be part of a team of Rangers working across the islands of Tikapa Moana (Hauraki Gulf). Your work will be part of a “roving” weed team living and working across several islands, including 4 months on Rangitoto‑Motutapu, 4 months on Te Hauturu‑o‑Toi, and shorter stints on Tiritiri Matangi, Motuihe, Motuora, Kawau and some smaller unmanned islands near Motuora (Te Haupa and Moturekareka).
