Job Description
Responsibilities
- Test all new materials that may be used in the mixing process
- Coordinate the mixing and testing of all current materials
- Operate all lab equipment
- Assist in conducting studies of new ingredients and compounds
- Prepare reports based on test results
- Interact with compounders, technical staff, lab personnel, and production associates to ensure procedures and tests are performed to meet requirements
- Additional duties as assigned
Skills required
- Strong communication and decision‑making skills
- Superior organizational skills
- Close attention to detail
- Computer literacy in Microsoft Office
- Ability to work in a safe and expedient manner
Assets
- Knowledge of rubber mixing and testing
- College or university education in a related field
- Quality training
- Previous lab experience
