Job Summary
Works under the direction and supervision of Recreation Therapist to create, implement, lead and adapt activities to ensure participants have a positive experience in group and individual activities.
Job Duties
+ Works in conjunction with the Recreation Therapist in planning, organizing, directing, and leading therapeutic activities for participants in large and small groups.
+ Adapts activities to ensure that individual participants are successful in programs.
+ Assists in the development of monthly activities calendar and daily activities schedule, ensuring schedule is posted.
+ Documents daily attendance and notes progress and decline in program involvement by participants.
+ Assists with the purchase, organization, and storage of recreational supplies.
