Job Description
Key Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance, servicing, and repairs on yellow equipment and heavy-duty trucks.
- Conduct fault finding on diesel engines, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical systems.
- Diagnose and repair mechanical breakdowns efficiently.
- Carry out preventative and scheduled maintenance according to OEM standards.
- Attend to field service breakdowns and emergency repairs when required.
- Complete job cards and maintenance reports accurately.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Maintain workshop cleanliness, tools, and equipment.
- Assist with mentoring apprentices and junior mechanics.
- Qualified Red Seal Diesel Mechanic / Earthmoving Equipment Mechanic Trade Certificate.
- Minimum 10 years experience working on yellow equipment and trucks.
