- Demonstrating exercises to students and providing individualized instruction and corrections
- Determining what equipment is needed for classes, such as balls, mats, blocks, straps, exercise balls, resistance bands, and weights
- Teaching students stretching exercises to improve flexibility, posture, and cardiovascular health
- Demonstrating how to use exercise equipment in a safe manner
- Scheduling classes and communicating with clients about class times and cancellations
- Demonstrating proper technique to students during classes
- Assisting students with proper form during exercise routines
- Observing students during class to monitor form, posture, breathing patterns, technique, and safety precautions
