Job Description
The Refrigeration & Utilities Manager is responsible for the safe, reliable, and efficient operation of the facility's ammonia refrigeration and utility systems. This role provides leadership for refrigeration personnel, oversees preventive maintenance programs, ensures compliance with safety and environmental regulations, and supports plant operations through effective equipment maintenance and continuous improvement initiatives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise refrigeration department personnel, including scheduling, training, performance management, and development.
- Manage and optimize preventive and predictive maintenance programs for refrigeration, utility, and facility equipment through the CMMS/EAM system.
- Oversee Process Safety Management (PSM) programs and ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and all applicable federal, state, and local regulations.
