Radiologic Technologist
Professionally trained individual who produces high quality radiographs for interpretation and diagnosis. Demonstrate respect, dignity, kindness and empathy in each encounter with all patients, families, visitors and other employees regardless of cultural background.
Job Summary:
Operates all equipment in an effective, safe and efficient manner
Formulates and employs safe radiographic exposure factors and minimizes radiation dosage on each exam.
Follow the safety steps required to perform their duties and be in compliance with medical, state and federal safety standards. They must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriately.
Must be proficient in all aspects of ordered X-ray procedures. This service provides diagnostic images for interpretation by the Radiologist.
Effectively utilizes all necessary computer systems in compliance with HIPPA guidelines.
