Job Description
Has accountability and responsibility for chartering activities of fixing non‑Maersk owned vessels and identifying and contributing to process improvement and execution of the segment strategy.
- Procures off‑fleet services for breakbulk cargo via Ocean with responsibility for quality control and management of the service/asset.
- Is active in fixing vessels, identifying and contributing to process improvement and execution of the segment strategy.
- Develops and maintains positive and constructive relationships with existing and potential vendors.
- Assists in identifying and developing new business relationships and opportunities by proactive interaction with vendors/brokers.
- Recommends and executes commercial strategies for the vendor category.
