Job Description
As a Regional Safety Engineer at Amazon Web Services (AWS), you will own the Health and Safety function for your assigned region, drive continuous improvement of safety practices in data center operations, provide safety oversight across construction, operations, and support teams, and educate and train personnel on safety policies. You will collaborate with security, logistics, compliance, legal, and human resources to maintain a robust safety culture and protect employees in a rapidly evolving environment.
Key Job Responsibilities
- Support implementation of health and safety standards, policies, and practices, including safety management systems, training, risk assessments, industrial hygiene, and applicable regulations.
