The Southern Alberta Forensic Psychiatry Centre (SAFPC) has an opportunity for a highly skilled, empathic, and driven Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN). Reporting to the care manager of the Southern Alberta Forensic Psychiatry Services, the LPN will carry out professional duties primarily with the site’s Not Criminally Responsible due to Mental Disorder (NCR‑MD) patients and the interdisciplinary team. Utilizing the professional standards of practice and the codes of conduct of the College of Licensed Practical Nurses of Alberta (CLPNA). Our treatment team adheres to Recovery Alberta policies and principles of Recovery, Patient/Family Centered, and Trauma Informed models of care.
