Registered Nurse - Contingent I - Cardiac/Telemetry Unit - Midnight shift
Shift: Midnight shift with weekend schedule
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care. Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family. Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team. Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions. Contingent Option 1: Unit-based contingent that reports directly to the Unit Manager/Unit Director. Meets all accountabilities of a Registered Nurse.
UNIT OVERVIEW:
34 bed unit – This unit is a telemetry/progressive care unit. Takes rapid responses from other units within the hospital. Post cardiac intervention pts, AICD/pacemakers insertions, cardiac ablation,...
