Registered Nurse - Day Surgery Unit, Te Nikau Hospital

We are seeking

a passionate and skilled Registered Nurse(RN) to join us in the Day Surgery Unit in the Perioperative Department at Te
Nikau Hospital, Greymouth. In this role, you will
provide safe, high-quality, patient - centred care to patients preparing for,
or recovering from, surgical procedures. You will work closely with
anaesthetists, surgeons, and the wider multidisciplinary team to ensure
seamless perioperative care and excellent patient outcomes.

Key functions of the role include:

Admission and discharge of patients for day surgery procedures.

Admission and preparation of patients that will be admitted to the General Ward post-operatively.

Preparing patient notes and contacting patients to discuss their proposed surgery or procedure.

Checking pre-surgical investigations for each patient.
