DEPARTMENT: EMERGENCY POSITION LOCATION: MEAFORD UNION AFFILIATION: ONA STATUS: PART-TIME, TEMPORARY (APPROX. END DATE JUNE MARCH 2028) REASON TO POST: DIRECT REPLACEMENT WAGE RATE: $41.15 - $58.98
Reporting to the Manager, the Registered Nurse is responsible for the promotion of health and the assessment of, the provision of care of, and the treatment of health conditions by supportive, preventative, therapeutic, palliative and rehabilitative means to critically ill adults, children and infants, in order to attain or maintain optimal function.
Skills/Abilities/Qualifications
Required
- Ontario College of Nurses registration or eligibility
- Current BCLS
- Current ACLS
- Current PALS
- Physical Assessment course
- Arrhythmia interpretation
- 12- 24 months emergency room/ Critical Care experience
