**Description:**
The RNFA collaborates with the surgeon and the interdisciplinary health care team to ensure safe surgical procedures and optimal patient outcomes.
**What you will need:**
+ **BSN** from an accredited school of nursing.
+ Successful completion of an **RNFA Program**
+ Active **Registered Nurse** licensure in the State of Michigan
+ **Certified Nurse Operating Room** (CNOR)
+ **BLS** Certification American Heart Association
+ Minimum of three years of **perioperative nursing experience** .
+ Proficiency in **scrubbing and circulating**
**What you will do:**
+ Assists with positioning, prepping and draping the patient
+ Provide hemostasis under surgeon supervision, including clamping, coagulating, and ligating vessels
+ Performs wound closures as directed, including suturing drains, fascia, subcutaneous tissue, and skin
