Position Summary
The primary role of the RN is to provide high quality, safe, effective and evidence‑based care in partnership with patients and families, in accordance with the College of Nurses of Ontario standards, and TADH’s mission, vision and values. The ideal candidate will be focused on providing superior patient and family‑centered care in a dynamic, complex and rapidly changing environment.
Position Requirements
- Current registration with the College of Nurses of Ontario. Recent ICU or ED experience in the care of cardiac, cardiopulmonary, cardiovascular and ventilated patients is preferred. A minimum of two years’ general medicine/surgical experience will also be considered.
- Preference will be given to candidates with demonstrated performance and current certification in I.V., central venous catheter/PICC line, and arrhythmia interpretation, BCLS, ACLS, PALS, TNCC and CTAS.
