The Nurse is responsible for providing direct patient care, ensuring a safe and therapeutic environment, and supporting the overall healthcare team. The nurse will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care, and work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patient health conditions through physical exams, interviews, and patient histories.
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physicians.
- Monitor and record patient vital signs, symptoms, and reactions to medications or treatments.
- Provide direct patient care including wound care, catheter insertion, IV therapy, and more.
- Assist patients with activities of daily living (e.g., bathing, dressing, feeding, mobility).
