Job Description
Shift: Nights 7p-7:30a
Call and Float are Required
Weekend Coverage - Every Other
Medication System: Omnicell
Special Procedures: LDRP with nursery responsibilities. Baby Friendly Facility. RN's are crossed trained to labor and delivery, circulator role, acute care nursery, and OB triage. Our unit also cares for GYN surgery patients . RN's perform their own hearing screenings.
Certificates Required: ACLS, AWHONN Intermediate, BLS, NRP, RN state licensed
Our nurses are 1:1 with labor patients 1:2 with cytotec inductions, 1:1 with mag patients, 1:3 with couplet (mother baby) care. If a baby goes to the sick nursery, the RN is 1:1
Years of experience required: 2
Unit will review 1st time travelers depending on years of experience
Floating: While Prisma Health prioritizes keeping staff in their home unit, agency staff are required to float to other units or campuses as needed. Floating is limited to areas where staff ...
