Job Description
Position: MedSurgical Float Pool Nurse
Hours: 3 x 12-hour shifts, 7:00AM - 7:30PM
Total Hours: 36 hours per week
Responsibilities:
" Provide high-quality nursing care to patients in a MedSurgical setting
" Flexibility to float within units of equivalent or lower level of acuity as needed
" Availability for weekdays and some weekends, including holidays
Qualifications:
" Minimum of 2 years of experience in a MedSurgical setting
" Current BCLS certification
" Proficient in IV start and telemetry monitoring
" Experience with EPIC electronic health records system
Requirements:
" Ability to handle patient ratios of 1:4-5
" Strong communication and teamwork skills
" Excellent organizational abilities and attention to detail
