About The Unit:
The Baptist Health Louisville Labor and Delivery Unit has 14 number of beds, 3 ORs, and an OB-ED, delivering over 3,500 babies each year. We work with four different private practice obstetric physician groups as well as the OB Hospitalist Group who runs the OBED and is in-house 24/7.
We have an active Maternal Fetal Medicine department collaborating in care of our high-risk maternal patients. Baptist Health Louisville has a level III NICU that takes babies down to 26 weeks gestation. Anesthesia in-house 24/7 as well.
