Job Description
Position Summary
Reporting to the Clinical Manager, Operating Room, PACU and Day Surgery, the successful applicant will be responsible for comprehensive nursing care in the operating room program.
Mandatory Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited college or university nursing program
- Registered and in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario
- Current Basic Cardiac Life Support (BCLS) certification
- Completion of Perioperative Nursing Certification
- Current operating room experience preferred
- Able to perform I.V. starts and venipuncture
- Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification (preferred)
- CPN(c) (preferred)
