Responsibilities:
- Prepare the operating room by verifying supplies, equipment, and patient readiness.
- Assist in sterile processing and maintain aseptic technique throughout procedures.
- Anticipate surgeon needs by anticipating instruments, implants, and procedure-specific requirements.
- Support intraoperative patient monitoring and document nursing care accurately in the EMR.
- Coordinate with the surgical team to ensure smooth case flow and effective communication.
- Participate in perioperative safety processes, including standard precautions and documentation compliance.
