"Type: PCU
"Beds: 22 (16 rooms)
"Avg. Daily Census: 20
"Patient Population: Adults & Geriatrics
"Common Diagnoses: Burns, plastic/reconstructive surgery (flaps, grafts, leech therapy), urology, GYN, ENT, oral/maxillofacial surgeries.
"Special Procedures: Burn dressings, flap checks, leech therapy.
"Systems: EPIC (documentation), Pyxis (medication).
"Support Services Available: IV/pharmacy, respiratory, PT, social work, transport, rapid response.
Shift Information:
"12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM 7:30 PM
"Every other/third weekend coverage required
"Floating within OSU required
Certifications Required:
"BLS, ACLS
Experience:
"2+ years of recent PCU experience (with like patient population)
"Previous charge RN experience preferred
"Teaching hospital experience preferred
