Registered Nurse - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU)

Currently recruiting Registered Nurses - Post-Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU) to provide PACU nursing services at Naval Medical Center San Diego in San Diego, California. Services will be provided Monday through Friday, normally between 5: 00 a.M. And 11: 00 p.M. Shifts will normally be scheduled for 10-hour periods, not including a 60-minute unpaid lunch break. This position supports post-anesthesia recovery, patient monitoring, and perioperative nursing care in a military medical center environment.




DUTIES OF THE REGISTERED NURSE - POST-ANESTHESIA CARE UNIT (PACU):

Provide direct nursing care to patients recovering from anesthesia and surgical procedures.

Monitor post-anesthesia patients for changes in condition and respond appropriately to clinical needs.

Coordinate patient care in collaboration with surgeons, anesthesia providers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals.
