Position Summary
The DVSARP Nurse provides specialized, trauma‑informed care to pediatric and adult survivors of sexual assault and intimate partner violence. Responsibilities include medical assessments, forensic evidence collection, documentation in alignment with provincial standards, and collaboration with community partners. This position includes on‑call duties to support Quinte Health’s 24/7 regional response across all sites.
Required
- Current Certificate of Registration in good standing with the College of Nurses of Ontario.
- Current certification in BCLS or CPR, or proof of enrolment in a recertification course. You will be asked to provide a copy of your valid certificate at the time of hire/transfer.
- 1 year of emergency room nursing experience.
- Previous experience supporting patients affected by domestic violence and/or sexual assault in a hospital or community‑based program.
