About the Role
Prosperity Workforce Solutions is seeking an experienced Mental Health Nurse to join a multidisciplinary outpatient mental health team in Edmonton, AB. This role focuses on delivering evidence-based mental health care to adults, with an emphasis on operational trauma, occupational health, and deployment-related care.
Duties
Intake, crisis interventions, biopsychosocial assessment, individual therapy, medication monitoring. Must use CBT, Motivational Interviewing, Strengths- Based, or Solution Focused Therapy. Note: Resume must demonstrate experience and professional development related to these treatment modalities.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelors degree in Nursing from a recognized institution AND one of the following :
- Post-graduate Certificate in Mental Health Nursing
- CNA Certification in Psychiatric Mental Health Nursing (CPMHN)
