Position: Permanent, Full-time & Part-time (80 hours per fortnight / 1.0 FTE).
Overview
We are seeking Mental Health Registered Practitioners to join a new community‑based crisis service. The service is designed to provide a single point of contact for people in mental health crisis, delivering psychiatric assessment and treatment within a 24/7 crisis roster.
Responsibilities
- Provide comprehensive psychiatric assessment and treatment to individuals presenting with mental health crisis.
- Manage crisis situations as part of a 24/7 roster.
- Collaborate with Emergency Department, Community Mental Health, Home Based Treatment, Inpatient Service, GPs, Psychiatrists, Police and other community agencies to deliver integrated care.
