BSO LEAD (Full-Time) - Haliburton
Candidates are invited to apply for the part-time position of BSO Lead at our Haliburton home, located in Haliburton, Ontario.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead for the Responsive Behaviours Program
- Coordinate the BSO interdisciplinary team meetings and rounds, working collaboratively with social work, pharmacy and physicians
- Participate actively with the Professional Advisory Committee, Medical Advisory Committee, Quality Committee and other teams as required
- Use best practices for dementia, delirium, depression and other mental health issues to coordinate training and support for staff, residents, families and volunteers in managing responsive behaviours
- Complete all required reports and statistics for the home, CELHIN and MOHLTC
- Contribute to annual quality protocols and program evaluations
