Job Description
This position reports to the Pharmacy Manager and is responsible for receiving, preparing and delivering prescriptions accurately and on time. It includes ensuring adequate inventory levels to meet patients’ needs and providing friendly, positive, proactive interactions with both internal and external customers, along with public‑relations initiatives and education of customers.
What you'll do
- Prepare, dispense and control medications accurately and timely to patients
- Ensure medication and over‑the‑counter supplement inventory levels are adequate to meet patients’ needs
- Counsel patients regarding new and additional medications in a friendly, positive, proactive interaction
- Create awareness and educate customers through public relations (public health days, clinics, etc.)
- Provide timely and positive resolution to patients’ needs and doctor’s requests/issues
