Job Description
What You’ll Do:
- Responsible for Civil and Structural Engineering related tasks as assigned, with minimal to moderate guidance, in support of Electrical Substation design.
- Perform structural steel, structure anchorage, and concrete foundation designs. Generate structural steel and reinforced concrete details.
- Develop structural analysis models and design of steel structures and equipment support foundations. Also utilize in-house developed design tools to assist in analysis, post-processing and creating construction drawing information.
- Assist in the preparation of calculation reports and packages, steel and rebar fabrication shop drawing review, and construction submittal review.
- Involved in executing structural steel and concrete analysis, design, and detailing, for transmission and distribution electrical substations with voltage classes up to and including 345kV.
