Project Engineer (remote work) – 6 month contract
Peak Ocean is seeking a versatile and proactive Project Engineer to join our technical team. This role offers a unique hybrid balance, requiring a strong physical presence on-site in the shipyard to oversee critical execution phases, combined with the flexibility to manage engineering documentation and planning remotely.
Key Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary technical point of contact in the shipyard. Monitor repair, conversion, or new-build progress on jack-ups and rigs to ensure work aligns with owner specifications and class requirements.
- Apply a deep understanding of rig maintenance (mechanical, electrical, and structural) to identify potential issues before they become costly delays.
- Bridge the gap between shipyard contractors and the owner’s project team. Review technical drawings, Method Statements, and Work Packs.
