Job Title: Protection EngineerJob Description
A System Protection Engineer will work to create successful programs, studies, and reports for new projects, alterations, and redevelopments on a variety of projects including transmission & distribution, generation, institutional, industrial, and manufacturing facilities.
Responsibilities
+ Conduct system studies such as Short Circuit, Protective settings, Coordination, Harmonics, Motor Starting, and Arc Flash.
+ Program relays using SEL, GE, ABB, Basler, Siemens, SquareD, Beckwith.
+ Perform Power Quality Studies ranging from load studies to forensic analysis.
+ Engage in performing Failure Analysis and Trouble Shooting.
+ Develop estimates for complex, non-standard projects.
+ Participate in both internal and external meetings as required.
+ Provide technical support to testing teams, including analyzing power quality tests, medium voltage cable tests, relay test result...
