The Repair Engineer initiates and develops new repairs on aero-engine components
The Job
- Prepare and maintain work instructions for aero-engine component repairs.
- Perform tooling /fixture design.
- Ensure compliance with OEM technical data and regulatory requirements.
- New machine and process qualifications
- Process improvements to improve process robustness, process efficiency and repair yield
- First Article inspection Reports
- Take the lead in providing technical recommendations and technical dispositions to the Production team
- Actively participate and support continuous improvement / Kaizen projects
