Job Description
Design, deploy, and maintain media processing and delivery systems including ingest, transcoding, packaging, and CDN integration. Ensure high availability, fault tolerance, and scalability of media infrastructure across on-premise and cloud environments. Monitor system performance, conduct root cause analysis, and implement proactive measures to prevent outages. Collaborate with production, engineering, and operations teams to support live broadcast and streaming workflows. Optimize media workflows for latency, bandwidth efficiency, and quality of service (QoS). Implement and manage automation scripts and CI/CD pipelines for media system deployments. Stay current with emerging media technologies, including MPEG-DASH, HLS, CMAF, and cloud-native streaming platforms. Document system architecture, procedures, and incident reports in compliance with internal standards. Support disaster recovery planning and execution, including failover and backup strategies.
