*JOB TITLE*: Rescue Personnel
*REQUISITION*: FOS00D1
*DEPARTMENT*: Generation
*LOCATION*: Jeffrey Energy Center, St Mary’s, KS
*PAY*: $20.00/hour with a step increase to $25.00/hour upon training completion.
*Scheduled Work Hours*:
• This position is classified as “temporary.” Regular scheduled hours are not guaranteed. Available hours are dictated by facility needs and may include a variety of shifts, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays, occasionally with short notice.
*Summary of Primary Duties and Responsibilities*:
• Perform high angle and confined space rescues.
• Provide care as first on scene for acutely ill or injured personnel.
• Perform periodic inspections and inventory of emergency response and safety-related equipment and supplies.
• Perform other safety related functions as assigned.
• Chosen candidates will be offered the option to become instructors for CPR/AED/First Aid and Incipient Fire Training.
