Position Available at the School of Physical and Mathematical Sciences (SPMS), Nanyang Technological University, Singapore.
Key Responsibilities- The project aims to develop and improve a three-dimensional, flux-driven, nonlinear two-fluid code for tokamak plasma simulations.
- The Research Assistant will be employed and based at NTU, and is expected to collaborate with scientific teams at UKAEA, UK.
- Develop and implement improved physical models within a three-dimensional two-fluid simulation framework.
- Improve the numerical robustness, accuracy, and efficiency of the code.
- Perform verification and validation using analytical limits, benchmark problems, and reference simulations.
- Conduct nonlinear simulations to assess the consistency and performance of the implemented models.
- Contribute to code documentation, testing, and long-term maintainability.
