Position Summary
The Language Learning Lab in the Department of Communicative Sciences and Disorders at Michigan State University (directed by Ron Pomper, Ph.D.) has an opening for a 1-year post-doctoral fellowship in language disorders. The position starts in August 2025 and may be renewed for a second year, based on performance. The overall goal of the Language Learning Lab is to better understand how children with Developmental Language Disorder (DLD) learn new words and how best to support their learning through intervention.
The Research Associate will be part of a new study assessing comprehension of legal vocabulary by adolescents with and without DLD. The candidate will contribute to all aspects of the project, including stimulus development and creation, participant recruitment, data collection, data processing, visualization, analysis, interpretation, and dissemination of results.
