Research Officer position in Chemical Biology laboratory
The YUcleic Lab is a Chemical Biology lab dedicated to studying cellular nucleic acids. We integrate functional genomics, chemical biology, and molecular pharmacology to advance RNA‑ and DNA‑targeted drug discovery.
This is a full‑time on‑site Research Officer position, who will engage in lab management (20% time) and conducting scientific research (80% time).
Responsibilities- Demonstrated strong sense of responsibility and organization in daily laboratory management
- Maintain lab operations, including reagent preparation, consumable ordering, budget tracking, and equipment maintenance.
- Extensive hands‑on experience in wet lab techniques, including Western blotting, qPCR, plasmid cloning, and cellular assay
- Develop and optimize cellular assays to evaluate the efficacy of RNA‑targeting strategies in cells.
