Summary This vacancy is being filled via the Direct-Hire Authority (DHA) for a Research Survey Statistician position in the Associate Director for Research and Methodology Directorate located at the U.S. Census Bureau Headquarters in Suitland, Maryland. The Census Bureau is accessible from the Metro Rail Green Line - Suitland Station. Responsibilities Independently carry out and lead a research agenda related to demography, sociology, and/or economics using unique microdata. Lead, build and manage development teams and produce new statistical products and special tabulations. Plan and coordinate project activities related for research using administrative records. Prepare and communicate complex technical issues to a variety of audiences.
