Job Description
The Hematology Research Biobank is seeking a Research Technologist to join our team. Our group is responsible for processing blood and bone marrow specimens for multiple clinical trials and general biobanking protocols, and is expanding into extraction services. The preferred candidate will have strong attention to detail and be able to work in a sometimes fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
Processes mainly blood and bone marrow samples from generous study participants in a sterile environment according to established Standard Operating ProceduresProperly prepares derivatives for immediate distribution and appropriate long term storageMeticulously collects and enters data for each submission into tracking databaseCommunicates consistently with the team to assess the changing priorities as samples arrive for processingMay pull samples from long term storage upon the request of InvestigatorsMay perform some assignments i...
