Hours Per Week: 36.00
Work Schedule: 6:30 AM to 7:00 PM
Summary:
Under the supervision of the Manager Respiratory Therapy, the Respiratory Therapist monitors, evaluates and treats pediatric through geriatric cardiopulmonary patients with respiratory and/or cardiac impairment in accordance with physician directives, departmental protocols and in conjunction with nursing staff. The incumbent performs duties and tasks in accordance with performance standards established for the job. The incumbent may have access to highly confidential patient, employee and/or Mercy proprietary information, and must handle & protect the information in accordance with hospital & system policies, HIPAA requirements and the highest level of ethical standards.
