**Job Summary and Qualifications**
The Respiratory Therapy Assistant is an individual who, after comprehensive training, is able to function independently in some aspects of respiratory care. The responsibilities of the respiratory therapy assistant to demonstrate proficiency in all noninvasive modalities of Respiratory Care and other multidisciplinary assigned skills as defined by training and competency demonstration. The Respiratory Therapy Assistant will be responsible for execution of assignments. All care will be in compliance with hospital and respiratory policies.
