- Investigate unlawful acts of employees or patrons of establishments.
- May be required to appear in court as witness.
- Produce reports.
- Enforce regulations to maintain order and resolve conflicts.
- Monitor establishment activities.
- Operate security control room equipment.
- Patrol assigned areas.
- Prevent and detect shoplifting and theft in retail establishments.
