Hospice volunteers make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and caregivers. Our direct patient volunteers work in the home or at a senior living facility with terminally ill patients and their families. Open Volunteer Jobs throughout Dallas and Collin County include:
Patient companionship : Talking, playing games, reading, engaging in hobbies.
Caregiver respite : Sit with a patient for a set period giving a caregiver the opportunity for selfcare and complete needed activities. Other duties may include light household chores, shopping, transportation.
Professional Volunteers (must have valid License or certifications): Hair stylist; pet therapy; aroma therapy; massage therapy; interpreters, etc.
Administrative assistance: Assist with special projects, general office duties and patient outreach.
